Naeto C Leaves Storm Records

In the last 15 months, the Nigerian entertainment scene has witnessed more label shakedowns than we could have ever imagined. And the breakup season isn’t over yet…

Rapper Naetochukwu Chikwe better known as Naeto C has ended his relationship with Storm Records, the music home where he launched his career into the Nigerian music market.

NET investigations have revealed that the rapper plans to fully launch his WKG/Cerious Music label in a matter of months.

Unlike the many breakups that have preceded Naeto’s, the rapper’s exit is not battlemented; both parties have been very silent about the issue. As a matter of fact, Storm Records insist that the rapper is still signed with them.

One of the label’s directors Tola Odunsi admits that Naeto has had his own record label Cerious Music for a while but is still with Storm.

‘Naeto has had his record label for a while at least 3 years it’s called Cerious Music – his music is being pushed as a joint venture btw storm 360 and Cerious Music. Nothing has changed’, Odunsi responded to our enquiry via E-mail.

D'banj Signs Durella To DB Records

According to NET.Ng:

D’banj‘s quest for dominance in the Nigerian music scene won’t stop now; he might have lost out on signing Olamide and Davido – but he has nicked another artiste, this time a familiar friend-foe.

The self-proclaimed ‘African Michael Jacskon‘, we’ve learnt has signed his friend-turned-foe-turned-friend Oluwadamilare Okulaja better known to the public as Durella.

The move might however not come as a surprise to everyone, considering that Banger Lee (that’s D’banj’s new nickname by the way) and the ‘King of the Zanga’ Durella recently settled their differences. Some weeks back, D’banj and his DB Records crew released a single ‘Ibadi e‘ off their compilation album (D’ King’s Men) which featured a verse from Durella.

Fans were very excited to see the pair had reunited after a very long and well publicized fall out between the pop acts.

An anonymous lover who shared US rapper, Drake's bed, recently came out to warn other women not to look forward to the experience.

According toMediaTakeOut, the lady says;

Ghanian Artiste Causes Commotion At The Ghana Music Awards After Losing Out

At the Ghana Music Awards that took place yesterday May 18th in Ghana,and in hand, dancehall artist, Bandana caused some commotion after losing out on the Reggae/Dancehall Song of The Year nod. Bandana who thought he deserved the award,was won by Kaakie. He was seen angrily screaming at the lobby of the venue, where he was temporarily thrown out and detained by security.

He went to Twitter to vent his feelings. While doing that, he deliberately insulted Charter House, the organizers of the awards, as well as Kaakie. Read the hateful tweets below...

How I Was Kidnapped By A Club Girl In Ikeja- Victim Narrates Story

A 28-year-old man, Ayodele Olaoye, who was allegedly kidnapped by a lady, Esther Phillips, he met at a Club in Opebi, Lagos, has narrated his ordeal before an Ikeja High Court.

Esther was said to have conspired with six others to commit the alleged offence.The other suspects are Patricia Nna, Kingsley Okonwa, Osita Adigwe, Uzochukwu Ezioha, Jude Sunday and Michael Olarenwaju, who are being prosecuted by the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecution, DPP.

The seven defendants who were arraigned on March 5 are facing a five-count charge of conspiracy, armed robbery, kidnapping and neglect to prevent felony.

Veteran actor, Zach Orji, has been on the corridor of evangelism in the past two years. He was proclaimed an evangelist by the President of Christian Central Chapel international (CCCI) Bishop Emma Isong,.

The actor was said to have moved from one church to the other with the ministry working hard and praying to get further official pastoral ordination. He had preaching engagement in various churches such as Shepherd House Assembly in Makurdi, Lafia, Abuja and the Diaspora.

Bill Gates Back To The Richest Man In The World

The 57-year-old co-founder of  Microsoft Corp, recaptured the title from Mexican telcommunications mogul Carlos Slim yesterday, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, as the software maker hit a five-year high. It is the first time Gates has held the mantle since 2007. His fortune is valued at US$72.7 billion, up 16% year-to-date.

Slim’s America Movil SAB, the largest mobile-phone operator in America, has dropped 14% this year after Mexico’s Congress passed a bill that could quash the billionaire’s market dominance. That’s helped erase more than US$3 billion from the 73-year-old tycoon’s net worth.
